ABOUT THE BAND

Thanks for all the fun in 2025!  We are busy learning new material over the winter and will be ready for a great 2026 season. 

Anthony & Shannon met at the Nisswa Jubilee Jam in 2023 and a short time later, formed Smiley Road.  Dee joined us in 2025 and we sure had fun cruising with Smiley Road!

Anthony was part of the Minneapolis music scene where he co-hosted the Savage Union Jam, and played and recorded with various groups before moving to Nisswa. He is also involved in the music ministry at St. Christopher's Church in Nisswa.

Shannon played in bands throughout the Midwest, Nashville & Canada before moving to Nisswa. She has been playing solo as the Rockin' Piano Bar until joining Smiley Road. 

Dee Ginkel played in the local Nisswa band the Nissfits before joining Smiley Road.  She also played in the Minneapolis based group The Pillsburados.
